Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Specialist
We are assisting our client that is seeking for a Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Specialist responsible for improving overall website conversion performance through data analysis, experimentation, and user experience enhancements.
This role focuses on understanding user behavior, identifying friction points, and implementing data-driven improvements using A/B testing, UX/UI optimization, and behavioral insights to increase engagement and conversions.
The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, deep knowledge of website performance metrics, and hands-on experience with CRO tools, experimentation platforms, and user experience best practices. They should be comfortable collaborating with marketing, design, and development teams to ensure testing and optimization initiatives are successfully executed.
Key Responsibilities
1. Data Analysis & Research
Analyze website analytics, user behavior, heatmaps, and funnel performance to identify drop-off points and conversion bottlenecks.
Conduct qualitative and quantitative research including user surveys, session recordings, and competitor analysis to understand visitor motivations and pain points.
Use tools such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, Crazy Egg, and Microsoft Clarity to track engagement and interactions.
2. A/B Testing & Experimentation
Plan and execute A/B, multivariate, and split tests to improve key conversion metrics.
Define hypotheses, monitor performance, and analyze results using statistical methods.
Work closely with designers and developers to implement and iterate on experiments.
3. UX & UI Optimization
Collaborate with UX/UI teams to enhance the user journey and reduce friction.
Recommend improvements to layouts, calls-to-action, forms, and personalization strategies.
Optimize signup and checkout processes by removing unnecessary barriers.
4. Landing Page Optimization
Build and optimize landing pages tailored to different audiences and campaigns.
Test and refine headlines, CTAs, page structure, and design elements to increase engagement and conversion rates.
Align landing page messaging with traffic sources alongside content and marketing teams.
5. Website Performance & Mobile Optimization
Ensure fast page load speeds to reduce drop-offs caused by slow performance.
Optimize for mobile-first experiences across all devices.
Partner with developers to apply best practices for site speed, accessibility, and responsiveness.
6. Reporting & Insights
Deliver regular reports on experiments, key findings, and conversion improvements.
Provide actionable recommendations based on performance trends and data insights.
Use visualization tools such as Google Data Studio, Tableau, or Looker to communicate results effectively.
7. Continuous Learning & Strategy Development
Stay current with CRO trends, testing methodologies, and industry best practices.
Explore new tools and frameworks to drive continuous improvement.
Develop and maintain a long-term CRO strategy aligned with company goals and digital marketing initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
3+ years of experience in Conversion Rate Optimization, UX/UI, Digital Marketing, or Growth.
Hands-on experience with A/B testing platforms (Optimizely, VWO, Google Optimize), analytics tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel), and heatmap tools (Hotjar, Crazy Egg).
Strong data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable improvements.
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to collaborate effectively with developers.
Solid understanding of UX/UI principles and their impact on conversion rates.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a structured testing approach.
Excellent communication skills to present insights, reports, and recommendations to stakeholders.
