Due to continued expansion, our client is seeking an experienced Country Manager to lead operations in Dakar, Senegal.

Role Overview

The Country Manager will be responsible for overseeing and driving all local operations, including marketing, commercial performance, customer service, regulatory compliance, and team leadership.

This is a full-time, on-site leadership position based in Dakar.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all day-to-day operations in Senegal

• Develop and execute strategic marketing and business development initiatives

• Drive market growth and increase market share

• Monitor platform performance and optimise operational efficiency

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners

• Ensure full compliance with local gambling regulations

• Lead, mentor, and develop local marketing and operational teams

• Deliver strong commercial results aligned with KPIs

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience managing marketing or operational teams

• Proven experience within the online gambling industry

• Strong understanding of African markets; familiarity with Senegal is highly advantageous

• Demonstrated experience in business development and market expansion

• Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and reporting capabilities

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet ambitious targets

• Fluency in both English and French (mandatory)

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)

• Competitive base salary: USD 4,000 – 5,000 per month
