Our client is a fast growing iGaming company in Malta which is seeking a KYC Verification Agent. Reporting to the Risk Team Leader, you will be reviewing and verifying customers over the phone or through their documents in accordance with KYC and AML regulations and internal processes.

Responsibilities:

• Verifying the identity of clients through various means, such as IDs, documents, or other authentication methods;
• Ensuring that information provided aligns with established records;
• Ensuring that the verification process complies with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, such as AML and KYC requirements;
• Maintaining accurate records of verification activities and documenting all interactions with customers;
• Handling sensitive customer information and data with the utmost care to maintain data security and privacy;
• Escalating any suspicions or concerns to the Compliance & Risk Teams;
  
• Working through verification cases maintaining speed, quality, and consistency of work.

Requirements:

• University degree or similar qualification;
• Have a minimum 6 months of work experience in a KYC role;
  
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken;
• Previous exposure to payments and KYC within the iGaming industry;
• Knowledge of AML and KYC directives will be considered a plus;
• Willingness to work a 24/7 rotating shift roster
• Proven ability to conduct document research with a keen eye for detail;
  
• Diligent and able to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision;
• Able to work within a dynamic team environment.
