Our client, a leading player in the iGaming and Sports Betting industry, is seeking a Head of Acquisition and Marketing to lead their marketing and customer acquisition efforts across African markets.

This senior leadership role is ideal for a strategic marketer with extensive experience in iGaming or related sectors. You’ll be responsible for designing and executing a results-driven marketing strategy focused on customer acquisition, brand visibility, and regional market adaptation—particularly across Africa.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Marketing Leadership: Develop and implement a data-driven marketing plan tailored to African markets; monitor trends and competitor behavior to drive growth and innovation.
• Customer Acquisition: Lead cross-channel campaigns (SEO, PPC, Google & Meta Ads, social media, and offline) and optimize user acquisition funnels.
• Team Leadership: Manage multiple departments, including SEO, online/offline marketing, and social media; set KPIs and performance benchmarks.
• Budget & Performance Oversight: Oversee marketing budgets and ROI-focused plans, with regular performance tracking and reporting.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (Product, Customer Service, Compliance) to ensure a cohesive customer journey.
• Brand & Compliance: Uphold brand identity and regulatory compliance, while championing responsible gaming practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA a plus).
• 8–10 years of marketing experience, including 5+ years in senior roles within iGaming or similar industries.
• Proven expertise in digital acquisition, SEO, social media, PPC, and local marketing strategies in Africa.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English and French is essential.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
