Our recruitment agency is helping a leading iGaming company find an experienced German-speaking Sports Content Writer with strong knowledge of football and sports betting. You’ll be responsible for creating engaging, high-quality, and SEO-optimized content for German-speaking audiences.

In this fully remote position, you’ll produce articles, previews, analysis, and betting guides, working closely with a content quality team. You’ll also be responsible for updating existing content and ensuring accuracy, performance, and relevance.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and write football-focused sports betting content, including match previews, news, guides, and analysis
• Ensure content meets editorial and SEO standards
• Collaborate with the content quality team to maintain consistency
• Update and improve existing content
• Use writing and research tools to enhance quality and productivity

Requirements

• Native German speaker with strong English communication
• 5+ years of content writing, including 3+ in sportsbook content (essential)
• Deep knowledge of football, betting markets, and strategies
• Experience with long-form content, SEO, and digital publishing
• Background in sports journalism or betting content is a strong plus
• Familiarity with WordPress is beneficial
