IT Administrator
Our client is a fast growing company which is looking for a skilled and proactive IT Administrator to manage and maintain the IT infrastructure across our offices in Malta, Spain, and Macedonia. This role is critical in ensuring high performance, robust security, and operational efficiency across all IT systems. The ideal candidate will take ownership of the company's networks, systems, and user access while delivering hands-on technical support to the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, including networks, cloud platforms, and on-premise systems.
- Install, configure, and update hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across all systems.
- Implement and oversee IT security measures such as firewalls, antivirus solutions, and secure configurations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and connectivity.
- Maintain IT asset records, including procurement, inventory tracking, and lifecycle management.
- Enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance and data security.
- Manage and deploy Mobile Device Management (MDM) and endpoint protection tools.
- Provide prompt and efficient technical support to employees across all locations.
- Assist with IT projects including system upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.
- Perform routine system maintenance, monitoring, and performance tuning.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for IT-related services.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an IT Administrator, System Administrator, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac OS, networking, and cloud-based systems.
- Experience with cloud-based Active Directory, Google Workspace, and enterprise security solutions.
- Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, and modern cybersecurity practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive troubleshooting approach.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with fluency in English.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Industry-recognized IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are a strong advantage.
