We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Head of Risk & Fraud to join our to join our client, an ambitious startup. Gaming industry experience is essential, ideally combined with leadership experience. The role will preferably be based in Limassol however our client is open to consider full remote candidates as long as they possess an adequate level of experience.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the Risk & Fraud department across all gaming operations.
• Develop, implement, and refine fraud prevention and risk management strategies.
• Monitor real-time transactions, player activity, and payment flows to detect suspicious behavior.
• Investigate potential fraud cases and take appropriate action.
• Collaborate with compliance, finance, and customer support teams to ensure alignment on risk controls.
• Maintain and optimize reporting dashboards and performance metrics.
• Stay informed about emerging fraud trends and regulatory requirements.
• Train and mentor team members to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Head/Manager Risk & Fraud role within the gaming industry.
• Expertise in fraud detection systems, KYC, and AML practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks and risk controls.
• Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Experience with SEON is a strong advantage.
