We are looking for a technically strong and service-minded Technical Support Engineer to join a growing SaaS company operating at the intersection of payments, data and technology.

You will be the technical point of contact for investigating and resolving technical, data and integration-related issues, working closely with clients, Operations, Product and Engineering.

The Role

• Investigate and resolve technical, data and integration issues

• Analyse logs, API requests/responses, transaction data and system behaviour

• Troubleshoot payment data, PSP integrations, reporting and transaction-processing issues

• Work with APIs, webhooks, JSON, databases and SaaS platforms

• Use SQL to investigate data discrepancies and identify root causes

• Reproduce issues and determine whether they relate to configuration, data, integrations or product defects

• Resolve issues independently where possible and escalate complex bugs with clear technical documentation

• Support clients and internal teams with technical investigations and provide clear updates

• Identify recurring issues and help improve support processes, monitoring and documentation

Requirements

• Experience in Technical Support, Application Support, Integration Support, Support Engineering or a similar technical role

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

• Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, JSON and integrations

• Experience working with logs and application errors

• Basic/intermediate SQL and confidence working with structured data

• Understanding of databases, data flows and SaaS environments

• Excellent communication skills and a strong ownership mentality

• Experience in Payments, FinTech or SaaS is highly desirable

• Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup/scale-up environment

Nice to Have

Experience with BigQuery, Grafana, Datadog, Kibana, GCP/AWS, Postman, Swagger, Python or JavaScript, as well as payment platforms, PSPs or payment orchestration systems.
