An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Counsel to join a fast-growing iGaming company based in St. Julian's, Malta.

We're looking for a qualified lawyer with 3–5 years' PQE who is commercially minded, proactive, and eager to develop their career within the iGaming industry. Reporting to the Head of Legal, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors, providing legal support across multiple jurisdictions while ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting the company's strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Support corporate transactions including M&A, restructurings and share transfers.

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including software, game aggregation, supplier, employment and NDA contracts.

• Manage corporate governance matters, board resolutions, statutory filings and corporate records.

• Assist with gaming licence applications and liaise with regulators, external counsel and advisors.

• Monitor regulatory developments and provide legal guidance to the business.

• Support KYC/AML processes, counterparty due diligence and internal compliance initiatives.

• Assist with GDPR, trademark management and intellectual property matters.

• Maintain legal documentation, contract repositories and licensing records across multiple jurisdictions.

• Deliver legal training and provide day-to-day advice on a variety of commercial and regulatory matters.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with 3–5 years' experience in private practice or in-house.

• Strong commercial awareness and excellent contract drafting skills.

• Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across international teams.
