Senior Software Engineer

We are partnering with a well-established, innovative company to hire a Senior Software Engineer who will play a key role in building and scaling high-performance applications. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex systems, contribute to architectural decisions, and help shape the future of a cutting-edge platform.

The Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable applications while taking ownership of complex technical challenges. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, drive architectural discussions, and mentor junior engineers, contributing to both technical excellence and team growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build scalable, high-performance applications using modern technologies (Elixir, TypeScript, Rust)

  • Lead architectural discussions and contribute to technical strategy

  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices

  • Optimise system performance and ensure reliability at scale

  • Develop and manage integrations with third-party APIs and services

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the platform

  • Participate in incident management and on-call rotations

  • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior team members

  • Contribute to the design and delivery of new features and products

  • Implement strong security and data protection standards

Key Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software development

  • Experience with Elixir/Erlang, TypeScript, or similar technologies

  • Strong understanding of API design and testing methodologies

  • Experience with microservices, event-driven systems, and high-traffic environments

  • Solid grasp of software engineering best practices (CI/CD, code reviews, etc.)

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work independently

  • Strong communication skills in English

Nice to Have

  • Experience in blockchain and cryptology (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, etc.)

  • Familiarity with payment systems (reconciliation, wallet management, etc.)

  • Background in iGaming
