Finance Manager
We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Finance Manager to join a growing gaming company based in Malta.
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven finance professional to play a key role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
The successful candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a hands-on approach, and the ability to partner effectively with senior leadership to drive performance and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
Manage daily financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
Monitor cash flow, prepare cash flow forecasts, and ensure liquidity for operations.
Process payroll and manage employee expense reports.
Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records.
Accounting
Maintain the general ledger and ensure all financial records are up-to-date and accurate.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and vendor payments.
Assist with budget preparation and financial planning.
Ensure compliance with tax obligations, including VAT, corporate tax, and gaming duties.
Administrative Duties
Manage office administration, including contracts, licenses, and insurance policies.
Coordinate with external partners, such as payment processors, auditors, and legal advisors.
Maintain organized and secure financial and administrative documentation.
Support HR tasks, such as onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining employee records.
Reporting & Analysis
Generate financial reports and provide insights to support decision-making.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Assist in preparing presentations and reports for stakeholders and management.
Stakeholder Communication
Liaise with banks, payment service providers, and other financial institutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Customer Support, and Marketing, to ensure smooth operations.
Act as a point of contact for financial and administrative inquiries.
