My client is a professional services firm establishing a base in Malta. As a fast-growing startup, they operate with a small, internationally distributed team. They are now seeking to appoint a Junior Auditor who will be based locally in Malta

The Junior Financial Auditor will be responsible for conducting financial audits, reviewing financial statements, and evaluating internal controls. Day-to-day tasks include analysing financial data to identify discrepancies, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing recommendations to improve processes and maintain financial integrity. Collaboration with internal teams and clients is a key aspect of this role.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Financial Statements and Financial Audits

Strong Analytical Skills and Finance knowledge

Experience in reviewing and implementing Internal Controls

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with sensitive data

A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Familiarity with local financial regulations and standards

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients and teams
