HR Manager - Mauritius
Our client, a dynamic player in the iGaming services industry, is seeking a passionate and organized HR Manager to join their dynamic team in Port Louis. As the HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s human resources strategy while managing essential HR functions, including job design, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and talent management. Your contributions will be vital in fostering a positive workplace culture that promotes engagement and high performance.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Development: Craft and execute HR strategies that align with the company’s business objectives, ensuring a proactive approach to workforce planning and development.
- Talent Acquisition & Recruitment: Lead the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain top-tier talent, leveraging innovative sourcing techniques and employer branding strategies.
- Employee Engagement & Retention: Collaborate with management to address business needs through effective employee engagement initiatives and retention strategies, fostering a culture of loyalty and commitment.
- Performance Management: Oversee the performance appraisal process, providing guidance and support to managers in setting performance objectives, conducting evaluations, and delivering constructive feedback.
- Policy Oversight & Compliance: Ensure that all HR policies and procedures are up-to-date, compliant with legal regulations, and aligned with industry best practices to mitigate risk and promote a fair workplace.
- Training & Development: Identify training needs and implement development programs that enhance employee skills and career growth, enabling a culture of continuous learning.
Qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial HR role, preferably within the iGaming or technology sectors.
- Talent Acquisition Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in recruitment and talent acquisition, with a track record of successfully attracting and retaining high-performing teams.
- People-Centric Approach: A strong focus on employee engagement and a results-driven mindset, with the ability to build positive relationships across all levels of the organization.
- HR Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of HR systems, metrics, and labor laws, ensuring compliance and effective HR practices.
- Communication & Leadership: Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a talent for motivating and guiding teams towards common goals.
