Our client is a rapidly expanding B2B iGaming company with a presence in Cyprus and Malta. They have entrusted us with the recruitment of a motivated Junior Accountant to support their financial operations.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in the financial operations of our organization and gain invaluable experience across various accounting processes. Responsibilities:

• Assist in posting journal entries for multiple related entities.
• Maintain accurate records in the general ledger to ensure financial information is current and reliable
• Perform reconciliations for key accounts, including bank accounts and intercompany balances.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies as needed
• Process vendor invoices and assist in preparing payments.
• Maintain precise accounts payable records and facilitate vendor communications.
• Help with customer invoicing and tracking payments.
• Reconcile customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including month-end and year-end processes.
• Collaborate with the finance team on internal and client reporting initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Prepare documentation and assist during internal and external audits.
• Identify opportunities for enhancing accounting processes and contribute ideas to streamline workflows.

Qualifications:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a professional qualification).
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• A proactive and enthusiastic attitude towards learning and professional growth.
• An interest in the gaming industry or prior experience with B2B companies is a plus.
