Our client is an expanding iGaming company with offices in Cyprus and Malta. They have tasked us with finding a skilled Accountant to join their team, focusing on Payment Service Provider (PSP) management and reconciliation. The Accountant will play a vital role in managing financial operations related to payment service providers for casinos. This position involves reconciling transactions, calculating fees, and preparing cash flow and settlement reports. Below is an outline of the key responsibilities and skills required for the role:

Responsibilities:

• Financial Data Management: Gather, analyze, and interpret financial information for internal reporting.
• Budgeting and Investment Support: Assist in the budgeting process and oversee the management of the company’s investment portfolio.
• Accounting Accuracy: Oversee accounting procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial operations.
• Performance Analysis: Evaluate company performance using key financial metrics and provide actionable insights.
• Forecasting: Develop forecasts to support business planning and strategic decision-making.
• Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments and recommend strategies to mitigate potential risks.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify challenges within financial processes, propose solutions, and provide advisory support.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience in accounting or accounting supervision.
• Financial Expertise: Strong understanding of both basic and advanced accounting principles.
• Cost Accounting Knowledge: Proficient in cost accounting and reporting methodologies.
• Financial Analysis Skills: Expertise in risk analysis, budgeting, and forecasting practices.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with financial software and MS Office applications; knowledge of Xero accounting software is a plus.
• Analytical Abilities: Excellent mathematical skills and an analytical mindset.
