Compliance Executive
Our client is one of the fastest growing games creators in Europe. They are currently seeking a Compliance Executive to help ensure their company meets regulatory requirements in multiple markets while supporting our commitment to excellence in the online gaming industry. This role is ideal for someone with a foundational compliance background, looking to further develop their expertise in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Compliance Executive, you’ll play a crucial role in safeguarding the business while driving it forward.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Compliance Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in monitoring and ensuring the company’s adherence to laws, licensing requirements, and internal policies and procedures;
- Keeping up-to-date with applicable legislative frameworks and regulations across multiple markets;
- Assisting in adapting to changes in regulatory landscapes to ensure compliance with evolving requirements;
- Supporting the process of obtaining and maintaining license applications and renewals in new and existing markets;
- Conducting market research and analysing compliance & licensing requirements in new markets;
- Contributing to the development, review, implementation and enforcement of policies and procedures to ensure business operations align with regulations;
- Assisting with timely and accurate submission of regulatory reports;
- Conducting due diligence on business relationships;
- Coordinating with external legal counsel, regulators and/or other third parties where necessary;
- Supporting the delivery of regulatory compliance guidance across the business to promote a culture of compliance;
- Maintaining up-to-date and accurate compliance records;
- Assisting with additional compliance-related tasks and projects as they arise.
Requirements:
- A degree in law, finance, business management, or a related field (other relevant qualifications may be considered);
- At least 1 year experience in a compliance role within the online gaming industry or other similar highly regulated industry;
- Familiarity with online gaming industry regulations and practices will be considered an asset;
- A proactive attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
