Our client , which specializes in digital marketing, is seeking an accountant/PSP Specialist to join its Finance team in Cyprus.

This role is critical in ensuring smooth payment service provider (PSP) operations, accurate financial reconciliation, and efficient reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

PSP Settlements

• Resolve queries related to B2B invoices and payment terms promptly and efficiently.

• Investigate and action late settlement cycles, ensuring compliance with agreements.

• Perform monthly PSP reconciliations and maintain accurate net settlement records.

• Collaborate with Finance to meet financial reporting requirements.

• Reporting & Cost Optimization

• Prepare weekly performance reports.

• Configure and maintain fee structures in PaymentIQ (PIQ) and align them with KPIs.

• Present performance data transparently, highlighting accountability.

• Identify cost optimization opportunities by analyzing processing fees and working with PSPs on solutions.

Operational Assistance & Reconciliation

• Support resolution of support issues, refunds, fraud investigations, and problematic transactions.
• Ensure adequate daily processing to meet PSP settlement thresholds.
• Manage PSP accounts and maintain alignment of fee structures in PIQ.
• Data Integrity & Compliance
• Maintain organized settlement reports and co-signed contracts.
• Ensure KYC/KYB documentation is up to date, creating renewal schedules and alerts.
• Uphold high standards of data accuracy and integrity.

Skills & Requirements

• Proven experience in the Payments Industry, particularly with EMIs and high-risk verticals.
• Strong understanding of various payment methods (credit cards, internet bank transfers, etc.).
• Knowledge of integration and onboarding processes for payment solution providers.
• Proficiency in PaymentIQ and advanced problem-solving skills.
• Accounting background with excellent analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask, adapt to changing priorities, and work under pressure.
