Our client is a small but fast-growing, dynamic group of companies in the iGaming sector with offices in Romania and Malta, specializing in B2B and white-label operations. As they continue to expand, they are looking for a skilled and driven Head of Finance to join the leadership team in Malta. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the financial strategy of a small yet innovative company and lay the groundwork for new investor participation.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the accounting operations of all group companies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Develop and implement financial strategies that support the company’s growth objectives while maintaining effective financial controls.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO, and the COO to align financial practices with business goals and operational strategies.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the existing finance team, with the opportunity to build and form a new finance team as needed.
• Conduct thorough financial analysis and reporting, presenting insights and recommendations to senior management to inform key business decisions.
• Ensure compliance with the Curacao gaming license requirements, specifically focusing on B2C operations.
• Identify areas for financial improvement and implement corrective measures to enhance efficiency and profitability.
• Develop a framework to facilitate the onboarding of potential new investor members, ensuring transparent and effective financial systems are in place.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; ACCA qualification (or equivalent) is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in financial management within the iGaming industry, particularly with B2B and white-label models would be a distinct asset.
• Solid understanding of B2C financial operations, especially in the context of compliance with Curacao licensing.
• Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills, with fluency or intermediate proficiency in Italian required.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, demonstrating flexibility and a creative approach to financial strategy.
